Prior to joining Powerhouse Energy, Mr. Butler was the Co-Founder and President of GAGE, a renewable energy company specializing in thermal conversion of solid carbonaceous feedstock material to syngas and technology development of downstream processes from syngas to liquid fuels and SNG.
Mr. Butler’s has experience in various settings in the renewable energy arena, material handling, technology assessment, overseeing testing programs, fuel development programs. And was part of a team overseeing technical, engineering and commercialization pathways to manufacturing schedules for equipment. Mr. Butler also consults with companies to provide technical verification for technology selection in renewable energy projects. Mr. Butler participated in Washington D.C. for the CFDC/EPA technology summit as part of a small group of technologies emerging for cellulosic ethanol production and verification.
